Gamme Plaisir - Sauvignon

 

Sauvignon - "Plaisir" range.
Dry white wine, 100% Sauvignon - Appellation Touraine Contrôlée.
Created from grapes produced by organic cultivation certified ECOCERT SAS F.32600.

Terroir : Mardelle and La Bocagerie plateaux.
The soil is made up of windblown sand over argilo-siliceous formations.

Harvesting : Mechanical.

Vinification : The grapes are pressed directly. Juice obtained is cold cleaned by simple natural decantation. Fermentation takes place naturally (without addition of yeast) at a regulated temperature of 18°C, followed by 4 months of maturing in vats, with regular circulation of fine lees.

Character : Clear yellow in colour. Pleasant, delicate nose with notes of citrus fruits and ripe fruits. Dense, crisp taste.
A well-balanced whole, with good aromatic persistence.

Tasting : Served at between 10 and 12°C, this "Sauvignon" goes perfectly with shellfish, grilled fish, asparagus, or warmed goat’s cheese.

Keeping qualities : 2 years.

MĂ©li-MĂ©lo - "Plaisir" range
Rosé, 100% Pineau d'Aunis – Appellation Touraine Contrôlée.
Created from grapes produced by organic cultivation certified ECOCERT SAS F.32600.

Terroir : La Bocagerie plateau.
The soil is made up of windblown sand over argilo-siliceous formations.

Harvesting : Mechanical.

Vinification : The grapes are pressed directly after 3 or 4 hours of maceration.
Juice obtained is cold cleaned by simple natural decantation. Fermentation takes place naturally (without addition of yeast) at a regulated temperature of 18°C, followed by 4 months maturing in vats on fine sediment.

Character : Salmon pink in colour. Delicate, elegant nose with fruity, spicy notes.
Excellent crisp attack in the mouth, with a slightly peppery, fruity finish.

Tasting : Served at between 10 and 12°C, "Méli-Mélo" goes well with mixed salads, picnics, and grills.

Keeping qualities : 2 years.

Domaine Sauvète - Gamme Exception - Les gravouilles

Les Gravouilles - "Plaisir" range
Red wine, 100 % Gamay - Appellation Touraine Contrôlée.
Created from grapes produced by organic cultivation certified ECOCERT SAS F.32600.

Terroir : First slope of Toucheronde and Rouère.
Eroded siliceous soil with richly varied stone content (flint, perrons, spongestone, etc.) ensuring rapid warming of the environment.

Harvesting : By hand, in small crates in order to ensure grapes remain undamaged until they reach the vat.

Vinification : Entire clusters in the traditional manner, without pressing or stemming.
Natural fermentation lasts from 8 to 10 days at controlled temperatures.
The wine is matured in vats for 6 months.

Character : Brilliant ruby in colour. Powerful nose with aromas of very ripe red fruits and just a hint of spiciness. Fine balance on the palate, well rounded and crisp with good aromatic persistence.

Tasting : Served between 14 and 16°C, "Les Gravouilles" goes perfectly with pork meats, roasts, and grilled red meats.

Keeping qualities : 2 to 4 years.
